Finding Wonder in Everyday Observations

Curiosity can turn an ordinary morning into an adventure

Fuzzi and Gram’s sparkling discovery encourages children to look closely at the world around them and wonder about what they see. When a first guess changes, it can lead to an even more interesting observation. As you read, ask, “What do you think is glowing?” or “What other tiny things might we notice in the morning?”

Try a gentle observation game on a walk, at a window, or in the yard. Look for things that sparkle, move, make a sound, or change as the light changes; your child can point, draw, or describe what they notice. Support their curiosity with words like, “You looked very closely,” “That is an interesting idea,” or “Let’s find out more together.”
