A balloon caught high above Town Square gives Fuzzi, Gram, and their friends a problem with more than one possible answer. Brainstorming lets children offer imaginative ideas, listen to others, and discover that a group can create something better together. As you read, ask, “What idea would you try?” or “How could the friends keep the balloon game safe and fun?”
Try a family brainstorming game with a simple, silly challenge, such as getting a paper ball into a basket without touching it or finding a new use for a cardboard box. Welcome every suggestion first, then talk about which ideas are safe and fair to try. Encourage your child with words like, “That is an inventive idea,” “You listened to your friend’s plan,” or “You found a fun and safe solution.”
